What is the safest way to keep my garden broccoli worm free?

for caterpillars use Bt..only effects the insect and there is no waiting time for harvest after application

I use Sevin suspended in water and spray it on my vegetables.  Sevin is a good insecticide for vegetables.  Just wash your produce carefully after harvesting.  As always, read the directions and warnings on the insecticide bottle.
