Is 50,000 the average these days?  I thought it was lower than that.  In any case, each team has a salary cap of 4.05 million to work with, and when you consider that there's 12 starters on each side of the ball, plus backups, special teamers, kicker/punter, well, there aren't any multi-million dollar contracts, that's for sure.
