  1. Why wife is a Gift Shopee on a cruise line and it is a salary and commision job.

You will make US$350.00 a week plus commission. My wife usually pulls in about US$2500-3000.00 per month. Having said that, there are some cruises where she makes less and others where she makes a lot more.

If you give them a range of US$2-3K a month, they will be happy.

Keep in mind that your food, rooms, tours, activities, laundry, uniforms ect are all paid. If you have a $2500 month, you could probably save $2000 of that. Accounting for vacation time (unpaid), there is no reason why you can't put away $20K by this time next year. So please ignore those you tell you that it is minimum pay blah blah blah.

    Have fun.

  2. very little...probably $6.50-7 per hour. You have to remember though, that some of your living expenses are paid for while on a cruise ship. They take that into account when deciding on how much to pay you.

  3. I just got off a R.C. cruise and my waiter told me the following:

He works for 6 months straight, then gets 2 months off.  In that 6 months, his salary is about 20,000 dollars U.S., but he gets 100% of tips that are given directly to him - he doesn't have to split the tip with cooks, stewards, busboys, etc.  His cabin, food and medical needs are 100% paid for by the cruise company.

  4. Very low.  Usually minimum wage.
