It all depends on what kind of experience you have and also what cruise line you are working for.  You need to contact various cruise lines and fill out an application and see what you qualify for.  Many of the crew will work acouple of different jobs to fill out their time.  Therefore, they make more money that way.  For instance, the entertainers usually work at night and will do something different in the daytime for extra money.  There are quite a few Indians working on the ships; but then again, since there are so many already, it may be a little hard to get a job with one.  But try.
