Not sure with a MS, and the offer I received back in '98 is probably lower than a BS in Ed. would receive today.

$34,000 year with a $30,000 signing bonus for a two year contract.

And, that was sight unseen.  They recruited me.  I declined though.

Detroit starts around 38k without any masters or experience.  You can probably figure in a 5-10k raise for the masters.  

Downriver is one of the best paid areas, I started their for 41,678  and the pay scale tops out at 90,000 after 10 years with a bunch of degrees.
