What is the salary scale for an experienced early years worker?

i have 2 years experience working with children 3months-6 years old, and would like to know what salary i would look to get if i returned to england to work.

i am also qualified to be a supervisor in a nursery environment

Depends if you went private or government funded...

In a preschool/nursery as an assistant (eg not degree qualified)

Private: £6+ an hour

Government Funded: Minimum wage for your age bracket...maybe +50p on that depending on setting.

Qualified (degree) Nursery Teacher or Early Yaars Professional (preschool)

Private: £7.50 +

Government Funded: Pay on salary £15,000+ or hour maybe £7.

It will depend on the setting.
