What is the scariest book you ever read?

  1. I know I'm too old for Goosebumps, but The Night of the Living Dummy I, II, and III really creeped me out when I was in elementary school.

    A few years ago I started reading Dracula by Bram Stoker and was so scared I couldn't continue.

    The Telltale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe gave me nightmares.

    The Speckled Band short Sherlock Holmes story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle really scared me too.

  9. Try some of John Saul's books. Let's see there is Suffer the Children, Creature, and Cry for the Strangers are some that I have read. They are really good, in a twisted way.
