  2. I'm the same as your hubby, saw films terrify me. i haven't had the nerve to watch the last one yet, still too afraid !!!

  3. gothika was pretty wicked.

  4. any thing with freddy in it..

  5. I completely agree with Jez Noir about the Spanish movie 'Rec' - the final fifteen minutes were the freakiest thing I've seen in ages - I actually yelped at one point.

Apart from that, I was terrified by 'The Exorcist' - the idea of an evil pi**ed off spirit coming through a ouija board really scared me (call me a wimp, but there you go, it scared me).

Also the Evil Dead movies - there's just something incredibly disturbing about the zombies in those movies - they really give me the shivers.

  6. I don't like scary movies, im 21 and still have nightmares about things popping out of places. But the onces the really freaked me out were se7en - its just really twisted, the bone collector had its moments wasnt scary but gruesome, and children of the corn - cr*pped myself!

  7. i have watched a lot of horror movies but descent was creepy and very claustrophobic

  8. The first Evil Dead movie scared the c**p out of me.

  9. It gave me the creeps when that women climbs out of the mirror in THE RING.

But then I saw a P*ss take on scary movie so I feel better now

  12. The only film that freaked me out is "The Grudge" the japanese version. I was watching it one night at home all by myself and i can't help but scream. LOL. I know it sounds girlish, but man, did it scare me! I had to call for my brothers to finish it. And then, my mom came out and scolded me because i was too loud. Ahehe.. Well, try it out for yourself. By the way, i was 20 years old when i watched that... :)

  13. pretty woman

  14. We were all freaked out when we watched The Happening recently, The Strangers is really creepy as well

  15. None are scary to me, my mother and i spend saturdays watching horror, slasher or scifi movies.  I have seen people with there heads missing, ran over by cars and became one with the road, things that would make a normal human sick...I was a firefighter and this stuff doesn't bother me.

  16. Who Ever Thought The Grudge,The Ring Or Shutter Was Scary Is A Chicken I Didnt Even Flinch Watching It The Scaryist Ive Seen Would Be The Desent Probley

  17. event horizon.

i've seen it at least 5 times and it still scares the c**p outta me.

  18. 'the ring' was the scariest i've seen.my friends find "the omen" scarier.

  19. I agree with Event Horizon, but the scariest I've seen is probably the director's cut of the original Dawn of the Dead. Either that or an Italian horror movie called The Beyond. It's scary cos it has some horrible deaths where you really don't know how far it'll go with the gore (quite far, as it turns out).

But if you really love horror, check out a movie called REC. It's a Spanish  horror released last year and works brilliantly on all levels, check it out on the IMDB but avoid the spoilers: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1038988/

(or at least watch it before the American remake 'Quarantine' comes out later this year)

  20. Asian films are always a good bet because they usually go for psychology rather than gore.

I'll tell you what though: The film Ichi the Killer is so horrific, gory, disgusting and scary that you will never be able to sleep again. I'd recommend it ONLY for those with strong stomachs.

Ulimately, Silence of the Lambs is my favourite horror film. (Ichi the Killer was just a tad too much.)

  21. Scariest Movie- The Grudge , The Grudge 2  Period . ;)

  22. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh  The grudge
