What is the scariest movie of all time, in your opinion. ?

Of course I know about the Exorcist, and other franchises like Friday the 13th, Alien(s), Poltergeist, Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street, but I'm looking for some other horror greats. No Hitchcock, ______ of the Living Dead or Stephen King, I've seen them all. BTW I saw "Saw" and it is my 2nd favorite movie of ALL TIME, so don't go there. Thanks!

Sorry, but I've got to go with The Exorcist. It may be considered tame by todays standards but when I saw it in the seventies it really got into my head big fashion. So many people got sick during the movie that the management had to mop-up after EVERY showing for weeks. You could smell the vomit and lysol on the theater floor when we were finally ushered in (there were grown men and women friggin crying in the lobby) which only added to the terror. I swear, I couldn't sleep without the TV on in my room for a d**n month afterwards.

The one movie that really got to me was an oldy called: "The Entity" because it was based on a true story.  It stars Barbara Hersey.  Not sure what year.
