Were all those experiments on water being affected by people shouting at it or living it remotely falsifiable?

  1. LOL -- people love pseudoscience because its like TV...

Truth is far stranger than fiction...

  2. I wasted money on the DVD of this movie.  After 45 minutes I turned it off.  It's bollocks.

  3. I don't think we can lump the response of thousands of people into one.  There are many scientists with an avid interest in metaphysics, quantum physics, etc.  There are ongoing experiments to better understand psychic phenomena.

Have you read The Secret Lives of Plants?  This book is filled with scientific data indicating that plants have not only feelings and reactions but also memories and human identification abilities that would amaze even the most open minded.  The scientists in this book used polygraph equipment on plants to determine reactions and memory.

As far as the water experiments of Dr Emoto and others, for  how long have churches had holy water?  It's simply water that has been prayed over or blessed and supposedly possessing a different type of energy.  How many of us prefer home cooking to restaurant?  The energy of love put into cooking for a family seems to leave the food tasting better.

Many speculate that the WWW is symbolic of the etheric web where ease of communication takes place as energy is sent back and forth across distances almost instantly.

My experience and opinion is that any matter living or non can be effected by positive or negative energies directed towards it.  I think the scientific community as a whole is more open to attempting to understand invisible forces and energies that have yet to be explained scientifically than they were in years past.

It's been ages since I've seen "What the Bleep" so I'm not using any specific examples from the film.

  4. i have not seen the movie ,but i agree with Mithra answer

    to your question

  5. Easy.  Get two bottles of water, shout at one, and see if anyone can tell the difference.  They can't.  It doesn't work at all.  That movie is pure bullshit.
