  1. Ok, I'm going to punt on this because I hate trying to name cyclic compounds in terms of the IUPAC names:

    Benzo[g]pteridine-2,4(3H,10H)-dione, 7,8-dimethyl-10-

    (D-ribo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydroxypentyl)-;

    D-Ribitol, 1-deoxy-1-(3,4-dihydro-7,8-dimethyl-

    2,4-dioxobenzo[g]pteridin-10(2H)-yl)-;

    6,7-Dimethyl-9-D-ribitylisoalloxazine;

    Isoalloxazine, 7,8-dimethyl-10-

    (D-ribo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydroxypentyl)-;

    Isoalloxazine, 7,8-dimethyl-10-D-ribityl-;

    7,8-Dimethyl-10-(1' d-ribityl)isoalloxazine;

    7,8-Dimethyl-10-(d-ribo-2,3,4,5-

    tetrahydroxypentyl)isoalloxazine;

    7,8-Dimethyl-10-ribitylisoalloxazine;

    1-Deoxy-1-(7,8-dimethyl-2,4-dioxo-

    3,4-dihydrobenzo[g]pteridin-

    10(2H)-yl)pentitol

    Of the above names, I'm betting the last one is the IUPAC name.  Anyway, all of those, and the molecular structure, can be found here:

    You're on your own for coming up with the SMILES string for B2.  :-)

  2. PL's right - "scientific" (I would used chemical) name is riboflavin and it's Vitamin B2. I've included a link for you if you'd like to learn more about it.

  3. Riboflavin.  It is Vitamin B2.
