Your answer depends on the course, the college, its location, etc. It also depends on what you plan to do once trained. Some people use homeopathy for friends, family and pets, to help with first-aid and acute care. Then, training is secondary. That level can be learned from a good self-help book. If you're interested in opening a practice, it's important to be part of a hands-on internship offered through colleges geared toward homeopathic certification. I don't believe correspondence courses are adequate (having experienced both).
