if you have an option than go for E&CE or computer stream. if you have already opted for civil than complete it and go for post graduation. during graduation gain knowledge in CAD/CAM . OTHER option is MBA after B Tech. wish you all the best.

civil's now becoming most demanded branch bcoz of the construction boom mainly in the gulf and also in India....scope is same for boys and girls, provided girls got the guts to work in a construction site....they can also get into office jobs provided they are good in design (structural and architectural)...
