What is the season weather like in Paris France?

My dad got a job in Paris for 2 yrs. and I am wondering if anyone can tell me if it snows or what the weather is like and the people, things to do, etc?

Paris has generally cool winters and mild summers. The city rarely experiences great extremes in temperature.

The daily temperature range in January, the coldest month, is between 44°F and 36°F. It will snow, on average 4 days in the month. Considering that Paris is further north than Montreal this is remarkably mild.

By the same token the summer heat is generally restrained with the temperature range in August being  75°F - 57°F.
