What is the seasons in perth australia e.g. when is it winter?

Autumn - March, April & May

Winter - June, July & August

Spring - Sept, Oct & Nov

Our summers are usually very hot though and can reach into the 40 degrees mark. Also our winters I find aren't usually that crazy but they are cold enough for me and as for Spring and Autumn they aren't really a big deal.

But Autumn would have to be my fav time in Perth for weather.

The people above me are correct with the seasons. It is currently winter and is the coldest it has been in a long time. i cant believe it was only 6 months ago when we had the hottest day on record, on 26th of December 2007, it was boiling with 45 degrees Celsius!!

but the weather all round is great!!

Perth tend to have hot dry summers and really cold winters. this year i was told they didn't really have an Autumn as the weather went from hot straight to cold.
