first of all u have to love what u do and play the violin with all ur heart so that the listeners understand ur feelings....then u have to work hard and practise a lot. and of course u have to be gifted...then everybody will apreciate u and ur music.

In my opinion:  75% obsessive hard work and dedication, 25% native musical talent and intelligence.

Most people want the easy way;  there is no easy way, and no shortcuts.

There is an old story about a wealthy, overfed matron approaching a concert artist after a concert:  "Oh Maestro, I would give my life to play like that!"

To which the maestro replied:  "I did."
