Black label unlike pictures we have found online. Made in Reims, France. Leftover in a hotel room I cleaned. Very interesting! Found 1985 to be a great year for champagne.

  1. In Florida $135.00 and 1985 was not a great year for Champagne

  2. Veuve is sold at various prices - depends on where you buy it - starts at $40 (ot BevMo) and goes upwards of $175...  I've found Veuve to be my favorite champagne! I love it! - I haven't had the pricier bottles but the $40 bottles are so great.

  3. You couldn't afford it so I won't give you a price.

  4. La Grande Dame is Veuve Clicquot's answer to Dom Perignon and normally sells for roughly the same price.  Around $150 for an OK year to about $225 for a good year.  I don't know offhand if 85 was good or bad for VC Champagne.  Most vintage champagnes selling today are from 92 to 98 so yours may have a higher value if it is becoming rare and people are looking for it.
