if i freeze some vacuum packed meats how long will they last for when i defrost them

Best Before dates are only valid until the package has been opened. I'd use them up quickly because your care, wrapping and storage will impact on them.

Sell by or use by date is on package, usually a month on average.  If frozen, ignore that date and figure up to a week after thawed and package is opened.
