What is the shift that is taking place 2012?

ive seen so much on every type of shift but cannot seem to identify the true scenario does anyone think something physical will take place or is it something else please help answer this

I don't know about this  but what I do know is about the asteroid Apophis which is going to pass from our Earth's orbit on the month of April of 2029. Now, if earth's gravitational force get's this asteroid in its gravitational field than it'll, as predicted by the astronomers, hit on the surface of the Earth on the same moth of the year 2036. No need to panic! There are some ways to get rid of the upcoming disaster. Try to google it! There is a bbc documentary about the asteroid apophis in the youtube. Check it out! I am serious! You'll find the greatest physicist of the world saying it!!! 2012 incident, I don't believe it but this one I do.

you see, its all a hoax... a very mean-spirited, cruel hoax spread by people with no heart or consideration for others (no, I don't mean the Republicans).

in 2011 there will be a Solar Maximum, which is sort of a pole reversal on the Sun, but it does that... harmlessly... every 10-12 years.

the Earth's magnetic field is wobbling, but anyone that claims we are in imminent danger of the poles flipping or (this is too brain-dead for words) FLIPPING OVER like a falling top... either doesn't understand physics or liked to torture small animals as a youngster or even writes FICTION!  (gasp)

The only shift that will take place in 2012 will be the doomsday prophets' targets shifting to the next fake doomsday prediction.

They say that this is when the Earth's magnetic poles will shift to the opposite polarity - N will become S and vice-versa. This has happened in the Earth's lifetime, several times in fact, but it's not thought to be about to happen by reputable scientists. We can't even predict earthquakes yet, and we get to observe them on a regular basis.

Scientists don't expect anything out of the ordinary to happen in the year 2012, or specifically on the date December 21, other than the solstice, which happens every year.

None of the "predicted" happenings for 2012 hold up under close scrutiny. "Planet X" and "Nibiru" simply don't exist. The Mayan calendar ends a cycle, but there were no predictions of the end of the world. The Sun doesn't line up with the galactic centre; it's 6 degrees off. No asteroids or comets are actually predicted to hit Earth.

All of this stuff was put together by crackpots in order to promote their books and TV shows, and shamelessly promoted by the History Channel. Don't take any of it seriously!
