What is the shopping like in Vilnius Lithuania?

Question

What kind of clothing stores are there( High Fashion or Normal)

Any name brands?

Are prices expensive for clothes?

Any other special stores to buy things at?

Any Main shopping streets with a lot of stores?

I guess the types of clothing are the same as all around the Europe - you can find both high fashion and normal clothes. Prices of the clothes are high in comparison with the prices of food and other things in Lithuania. Our family, for instance, prefers to buy clothing while on holiday abroad, because it usually is cheaper.

The best place to shop, in my opinion, is Akropolis - that's a big shopping mall with lots of shops. You may look at the names of clothing shops in their website - some of the brands are known worldwide while others are local:

In the down town you may also find some smaller boutiques from various Lithuanian designers.

There is a few shops in the center of the old town of Vilnius with wooden local markets selling local goods.. and more if you walk into the New town center which shops are placed all long the main road which is more western style its to be said.. Both areas are nice they are many of of there own brands on the shops which are cheaper of course then western style brands.. I did not see much of name brands but that does not mean there is none there!..I would say there is many stores but enough to buy something maybe you like..There is main mall called" Europa" which is worth checking out, My advice look around and take your time in each of the towns which are leading into each other (New & Old Town)  I would say it was normal fashion Lithuanian designers what i saw walking around there..Sorry if this does not help you very much but please check the links out for more info which might be helpful for you to know where and what place is selling..
