not sure, but south ealing and northfields on the piccadilly line appear pretty close to each other. hope that helps?

The shortest distance that I know of is the one between Cannon Street an Mansion House Stations, as you can see Cannon Street Station from Mansion House stations platform and it about 3 minutes walk on the surface. Then the next nearest Station gap will be the one that's between Cannon Street & Monument Stations as yet again you can see Cannon Street station from Monument & vice versa. + the walk is about 4 minutes.

The shortest distance between stops is on the Piccadilly Line: Leicester Square and Covent Garden stations being a mere 0.16 miles.  Given the need to use escalators and lifts at each end, it would be quicker to walk!
