  1. As far as I know, take NH-9 from Hyd to Vijayawada via.Suriyapet, Kodar, Nandigama: 270 km or so; then take NH-5 from Vijayawada/Bezwada to Chennai via. Guntur, Ongole, Kovur, Gudur & Naidupet to reach North Chennai: 450 km; total distance is around 720km. Takes about 14 to 16 hours and hence many people halt at Vijayawada or Guntur overnight and continue the next day.
