What is the shortest time frame someone has waited to get married

You or someone you know? How long did the marriage last? What do you think about being married after only being together for a short time frame?

My husband and I went on one date got engaged the next day married the next month we will be married 3 yrs in Oct. My mother and father were together 2 weeks got married and was married 30yrs unitl he passed in 2005.

If you're drunk in Las Vegas, the time between the proposal and the wedding can be mere minutes.  

I would not marry someone who I had not seriously dated for 1 year.  Being friends doesn't count, hangin' out doesn't count.  Date for 1 full year, then decide if you want to get engaged.

I was with my husband for about a year, we met when I was 16, he proposed July 30th 2006 ( I was 17) and we got married just after I had turned 18. our wedding day was Nov 18th (3 1/2 mo's after he proposed)

I lady I know got married after 7 days of going on vacation here in the US (she's from Ireland) and they've been married for over 20 years and have one boy. She met him ON her vacation. They have  a great marriage. Do I agree with what she did? NO. But it worked for her. I don't suggest it to ANYONE.

Hubby and I dated 3 days before we decided we wanted to get married.  A couple of weeks later he had to go back to Germany (his military leave was over) We wrote letters and planned a wedding for 7 months until he could take another leave to come home again.  We got married one week after he got home.  That was 25 years ago.  We were 19 and 20 years old and it's been a trip, good times and bad, happy and sad.  Now we are in our mid forties and have 3 grown children and our marriage is better than ever.
