Neighbours is australian, its shows in a few different countries. It leans more towards the younger soap viewers like hollyoaks. Its mainly about the lives of a few different families on one street (ramsey street) Its like any other soap i guess, always some sort of drama but its more innocent drama to something like eastenders or cornation street. Not many murders but a few affairs and forbidden relationships. If you like hollyoaks you'll like neighbours

Neighbours is an Australian soap that has been over here since the 80s. It was first popular among students but has grown up in recent years and got better story lines. It's secret is that although there is often sadness, illness and tragedy, there is always some humour and sunshine too.

Basically it's the day to day lives of a group of neighbours and their families living in Ramsay Street.
