I lifted my arm up in the air (in my dream) and it came and perched on my arm. No fear.

  1. This is wonderful news.  It means you'll live to 107 years old, have two children, marry an educated man, and tend to your garden everyday.

    Good luck!

  2. You are being courted by the dark side, so to speak. ;-) There's an experience you may have felt was "sinful" or "wrong" at some point in life, but you've since moved on and realized things are not what they seem. So the wise old owl, who knows all, approaches you, beckons you to partake of his knowledge. He's black because of lingering feelings you have towards the subject he represents, but just because the owl is black, that doesn't mean the subject really _is_ all that dark, it just means you have a little bit of a subconscious reactivity left over from the days when you still believed the subject was best unapproached.

As for what the subject is, it could be something along the lines of pre-marital s*x, or smoking weed. Something not -too- profoundly deep within the "fringes" of society, but something which enough people look down on for their attitudes to color your perception of the subject. It's something you accepted as "bad" at one time, but have since changed your mind on.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I'm even remotely close. :-)

  3. Well, in my book about dream interpretation, it says that seeing a white owl can mean you're wise, and an inspiration to those around you.  However, it says this of black owls:

"Beware of the owls of the charcoal color, for they are the harbingers of homosexuality."

So basically, it means you're g*y.

  4. umm, you've been reading harry potter? hehe

  5. You will invite a crooked person witjh little stength to companion you.  Beware, this is not a good omen.

    Regards

  6. Since black is the color of the west and Introspection for several native american peoples, and the owl is known for its clear and penatrating vision, I would suggest it is time to revisit your beleafs and emotions concerning what you are starting at this time.
