  1. I heard there was a possibility some of the information contained in the data banks may have been a national security threat if they were to get into the hands of the wrong people or governments.  I don't know how true that really is.  I'm just glad it's over & it won't shower the earth with large chunks of debris & cause more grief than it was worth!  It may have just been messing with the signals of the other satellites...who knows?  They don't ever tell any of us the real reason for what they are doing!


  2. Nothing anymore, it's in little bitty pieces.  What it's function was will probably remain classified for quite some time.

The fuel tank contained a toxic fuel that could potentially be of some danger to someone on the ground.  That's the official story.  Unofficially.....it's good practice to see how successful the military is at shooting a moving target out of space.  That's where ICBM's travel.  Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out!
