What is the similarities between spring and fall?

There is only two similarities that I know of between these two seasons, 1) the length of day and night are the same, 2) both season are transistion seasons.

On the day 'spring' starts(on 21st March) and 'fall' starts(on 22nd September),the sun shines exacly over the equator and the day time and night time are equal in almost all places in the world.During this entire period(21st March to 22nd september) the sun will be shining only over the northern hemisphere and the north pole will be pointing towards the sun.During this period the earth will be at a greater distance from the sun in its elliptical orbit as it is moving towards the apogee position(farthest position from the sun) and reaches on 21st June.Generally day time tempratures are higher in this period.
