What is the simplified inverse of f(x)=1/(1-x)?

Actually, I've been doing and understanding my homework for a few hours, I just need help with a few problems because I keep getting the wrong answer. Why don't you stop talking to me if you are not going to help me.

    Now, as for you, my darling, here is the solution:

    I shall replace the f(x) wih y, to make it less complicated for me!

    Now change the x for a y and vice-versa

    x = 1/(1-y)

    Then :

    (1-y)x=1

    x-yx = 1

    x= 1 + yx

    x-1= yx

    x-1/x = y

    TADAH f(x) = x-1/x
