Did you know that there is a travel advisory for American minorities who are thinking of traveling to Ireland about recent racially motivated attacks?

  1. I don't want to sound unfriendly, but when it comes to racial violence, I don't think any place in western Europe is notably more dangerous than the US.

As long as they stay out of east Germany.....

  2. I heard on the News this morning that unfortunately it has increased.

    = )

  3. Yes some of us hate foreigners and treat them with disrespect and I wouldnt say black people would be very welcome either. I'm not saying all of us are like that but it just depends which part of Ireland you want to go to.

  4. I think everyone is noticing a bit of an increase in the racism

Though any racism seems to be directed at different nationalities not the colour of your skin

But most of this racism comes from the scangers who like to yell things but I don't think they really do more then that except in some extreme situations like the in the link to the new item you showed

  5. Ma'am, there was one single isolated incident in Ireland and here's the link:

Most other "recent" racially motivated events mostly occured in NORTHERN-Ireland which is a completely different country from Ireland and I refer:

Hope this helps. Do a few News searches.

Ireland is a lovely and friendly country for all people.
