  1. it isn't really worth having anything smaller then a 55gal smaller is harder to keep your leaves right and you can't have many fish


  2. you can do a 20 gallon probably as smallest. but if you go thirty, I think you could have a couple of clown fish and maybe one of those cool looking shrimps.  

  3. Well technically you can set up nano-tanks of only a couple of gallons, but they are VERY difficult to maintain. People do it just to prove it can be done, not because it's easy, or cheap.

    A larger tank is MUCH easier to maintain. 20gal is about the minimum you should consider, and that will only hold a few small fish. A 30-50gal is a better option to start out with.

  4. well they make nano cubes i think like 14 or 15 gallons and you can use that it'd just be real hard to keep your parameters at the right levels............
