  1. There are a number of subatomic particles like quarks, mesons, leptons, gluons, etc that are so small they make an electron look huge. A neutrino is a particle with essentially no mass and can pass through a million miles of solid lead without touching another particle. Right now our technology can't "see" subatomic particles because they're considerably smaller than the shortest wavelengths of light. We can only detect them by how they affect other particles. It's like throwing a ball in a totally dark room and having it bounce back at you. You know it hit something but you can never be sure exactly what.

  2. electrons are the smallest things on earth but if anyone ever asks you you can't pass up this chance to mock the size of their p***s

  3. an atom :D

  4. Quarks are the smallest particle known to man, scientists have identified six known quarks, which join together in groups of three to create either positively charged protons or neutral neutrons, depending on the specific combination. Some scientist thought that protons, neutrons, and electrons were fundamental -- not made of anything smaller. While it appears that electrons are, in fact, fundamental, physicists now know that protons and neutrons, the particles that make up an atom's nucleus, contain even smaller particles called quarks

  5. No one really knows, there always seem to be something smaller.

  6. An atom of an element i.e the smallest piece of a paper.(How do u expect anyone to know)?

  7. Erm...Derrick?  What on Earth do you think the microbes are made of?

  8. actually microbes are the smallest thing on earth, even smaller than atoms or cells. microbes are a form of bacteria that grow in soil, plants animals and humans.

  9. An electron is pretty small, but there are neutrinos flying through the earth from the sun all the time that are even smaller.
