  1. I would say that the parrot is the smartest kind of bird. Tests have shown that the parrot not only can imitate man, but it can add and subtract numbers too.


  2. I think that would be the cuckoo bird (I was tempted to say the "Roadrunner". Too much cartoons, LOL! ). Well, I think that the cuckoo birds are the smartest because they get other birds to hatch their eggs. I mean, how smart can that be? Let some other birds do the hard work?

    Oh, by the way, I just figured out from the link below that the "Roadrunner" is part of the cuckoo bird species! I guess they're really clever after all. Watch out for that coyote though. XD

  3. The corvids (crows, ravens, blue jays, etc...) have the ability to count. Among ornithologist they are one of the most intelligent groups of birds.
