What is the soonest you can tell you are pregnant?

My period is due to come on August 4th and for the past week I have been extremely nauseous every day and I know I am probably getting in over my head but ive been tired and I just feel pregnant...Do you think I could test today and get a result or should I wait. I have been ttc for 19 months now so I am hoping it finally happened

You might get an accurate result today but if it is negative test again if you don't start your period, like the day after your period was due!!  Good luck!

you can buy early pregnancy tests that would be accurate now good luck!!!!!

most hpt are quite accurate three days before your period is due or you can wait till after you have missed your period to retest. All the best and baby dust to you!

I would go ahead and test. I tested 7 days before my period was due and got a very accurate positive which was confirmed 2 days later by my doctor. The brand i used was Answer.

You can test 19 days after the day you think you became pregnant (maybe sooner) and get accurate results.
