  1. No sound. Sound is a vibration. If nothing picks it up it's like it has not happened. Is this an attempt at philosophy?

  3. the first answer is false. If nothing receives a sound it is not as though it has not happened because it has happened. If it were like it didn't happen the vibrations wouldn't of occurred and effected the molecules or altered their state of being as the sound did. If an individual can not perceive something as it happens does not negate it's existence, it is similar to object permanence, just because you don't see it doesn't make it nonexistent or irrelevant.

    And you can clap with one hand, you have to hold all your fingers together and bring them down quickly onto your palm.
