What is the species of my hamster?

Question

As shown in the picture, he is completely white with a black spot on his head. I thought he might have been a Russian Campbell Dwarf hamster, but he doesn't have a dorsal stripe on his back. He is about 4 inches long and very friendly and active. Anyone know what he is?

Could be a panda bear hamster. I googled Panda bear hamster and most pictures that came up looked like ur hamster. The colors, the fur, etc.

Not all Campbells have to have a dorsal stripe.

From the size and shape of the body I am 99% positive that it's a Campbells.

i think your hamster is just a Syrian with different colors on his head. i have a dwarf hamster and she is just plain light brown with a little white. and she is wayyy smaller than 4 inches!!! i think you might own a Syrian. Good luck and just treat the hamster like you always would and if someone asks you what kind he is, tell them what you think...not what other people might say he is.

Okay i just looked at some website and it might be a Blue Collar Russian Campbell Dwarf Hamster. You could just tell people that hes a Blue Collar. Here's the website.

well first he i have to say he is so cute!!! but i am not sure of the breed, he looked a little to big to be a dwarf, but i don't think there is any golden or syrian of that color, he could be a winter white dwarf, because they tend to be a little bigger. maybe he just is a dwarf with dalmation markings on his head and face, but i  think winter white dwarf!

Based on the first picture I was going to say he was a Panda Hamster, but the second makes me  think a plain Syrian Hamster.
