in the philippines, they call fava beans as "baguio beans". there's no tagalog/filipino term for it; although you can stil call it as "sitaw" or a kind of string bean. anyway, you don't need to worry about its tagalog term, just exclude all kinds of beans and legumes on his diet if you want to be sure.
