I'm doing a study/survey and was wondering if you could provide me what state you live in and what the speed limit is around your house.

  1. i go from neighborhood to neigborhood, I don't take highways to work (thank goodness I don't have to)

but it starts out from 30 to 15 because of the school to 35 to 40 but some people still drive 30mph (I think just to annoy me) single lane traffic sucks  (i tell my folks that when they ask me why I'm leaving so early)

  2. This website should be useful:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speed_limit...

  3. top speeds in Austria:

    130km/h (~80mph) on interstate

    100km/h (~60mph) on highways

    50km/h (~30mph) city limit

an in some cities 30km/h (~18mph) in side streets

there may of course be additional limits depending on road conditions and/or weather :-)

  4. South Africa all high ways 120km\h

    National roads 100km\h

    City limit 60km\h

And where ever they feel either 70 or 80

  5. Wyoming-75 on Interstates

    In towns are usually 35

  6. The maximum speed on any roadway in california is 65 mph... few exceptions of 70 mph, but mostly 65.  A two lane undivided highway is a max of 55 mph.  School and residential is 25.  There are other speed limits in between but they are prima facie speed limits, not maximum speed limits, meaning, they must be determined with a speed survey of the roadway.

  7. Im in Arizona & the limits are

    Local road in neighborhood  25mph

Closest main road  hwy 69    55mph

    2nd closest main road  169   65mph

    Nearest Interstate  I-17           75mph

  8. I'm 15 miles below Atlanta, Georgia and on our main interstate (I-75) It's 65mph heading north out of town, 55 heading north/south in town and 70mph heading south out of town. The main highways in my town are 138 and 155, they are 55mph in the country, 45 in the city, 35 in the seat of the city. Residential roads are mostly 40-45mph, and culdesacs are 25-35mph, depending on how pricey the neighborhood is. Some of the curvy side roads are 15mph for about a mile and go up to 40mph when the road straightens out/gets wider.
