I live in Incline Village, NV and was pulled over for speeding at 37 MPH on an unmarked road. What is the speed limit on an unmarked road?

The Washoe Co. Sheriff's Dept. patrols Incline. This is a common area for tickets. The speed limit is 25 mph, but you are beginning a downhill run and cars pick up speed quickly. Weekend nights are heavily monitored especially on Tahoe Blvd. (Hwy 28).
