  1. 60 mph

  2. More than 7.5 is 60

  3. any vehicle plated over 7.5 tonnes can only do 60 on a motorway 50 on dual carriageway and 40 on a normal a road  but they are limited to 56 anyway

  4. it is 60mph  but most modern trucks are limited to 56mph and cannot get above that speed.

  5. Single carriage way its 40mph unless 30 mph /20mph showing

    Dual carriage way its 50mph

    Motorway ..........60mph

yes a lot of HGV'S are limited to a lower mph but when your going down a slight hill its easy to go above 60mph if your not careful

  6. 56mph, though many new lorries only do 52mph eg tesco

  7. The UK Law restricts HGVs to 56 MPH and they cannot use the outside lane know as the overtaking lane and sometimes incorrectly called the “fast lane” The engine its self is restricted not the vehicle, therefore if going down hill it is possible to go faster then 56 MPH so they speed limit is set at 60MPH to prevent this. I hope this helps.

  8. The limit is 60mph on a motorway although most trucks are restricted to a top speed of 56

  9. 60mph i think

  10. as fast as you can get your lorry to go, if you are foreign.

  11. Legal limit 60

    Speed limiter set at 56

It is actually illegal to remove fuse from tacho and put into neutral downhill but just watch 44 tons go

  12. The answer is 56mph, on a single carraige way where the national speed limit is 60mph for cars it is only 40mph for a lorry,

You will find now that most companies limit there lorries to 50mph as driving at full speed (55mph) causes a massive rise in fuel consumption because of the higher revs needed to maintain the speed.

  13. any speed your vehicle is capable of but only if its three feet from the vehicle in front.

  14. Unless signs show otherwise it's 60 MPH but most UK registered HGV 's are electronically governed to a Max of 56 MPH.

  15. 60mph & they should be governed so they can't go any faster.

  16. national speed limits for LGV's over 7.5 tonne are unless sign posted or displayed  on matrix boards are

    motorway= 60mph/97kph

    dual carriageways =50mph/81kph

all other roads unless sign posted otherwise = 40mph/64kph
