  2. probably deep freeze. it numbs the area/makes it cold to ease pain.

    or deep heat, which wamrs the area.

    deep freeze should be used on joint areas, and deep heat on muscles. (DO NOT GET NEAR YOUR PRIVATE PARTS!)
