What is the standard height for a ballet bar?

I am 13 years old and getting a ballet bar in my room! (yay!!!!) I am 5'2" and was wondering what the standard height and length for a ballet bar was. Help!

It should be up to about  you elbow

Oh my God, I am completely jealous of you right now! To determine the correct height for your personalized ballet barre, have someone measure the distance from your elbow to the floor when you are standing upright, with your arms to the side bent at a 90-degree angle to your upper arm.
