What is the standard size of printing paper?i was wondering what size,I might have bought the wrong size of?

printing paper for my printer The size that I got was 81/2 by 11 inch,Any suggestions,ideas?

  3. you got it, it's 8 1/2  by 11 inches.

    the other one that you could use in most printers is 8 1/2 by 14.

    the first one is known as Letter size, the other one is known as Legal size
