    Pâté is mostly served as a starter, cheese and wine is a big thing in France. People drink the best wine in France and is always drunk when having dinner.

    Cassoulet is a healthy dish, it is dried haricot beans cooked with pork or lamb, sausages and confit, preserved goose or duck. It is a speciality of south-western France.
