What is the base/starting salary working in a crime lab or working as a forensic scientist [any branch such as forensic entomologist or psychologist]?

well see it all depends on what branch you are actually going into. It also depends on where you are located, salaries differ all over the US. Here in NY, a starting Forensic Scientist (with no specialty) usually makes around $24,000. When you get into differnet divisions, like you said psychaitry, entomology and such, the salaries will differ. BUt basically starting out you do not make much.
