What is the status of the Geneva Accord?

The one the US enterred into regarding POWs, noncombattant internees, and treatment of prisoners in general. It seems it was multinational, but the US was a major signer.

  2. There are multiple Geneva Accords, covering many different countries and conventions.  Which one are you referring to?

    Edit:  The Geneva Conventions of 1949 updated the earlier conventions of 1929.  Two protocols were added in 1977 to the four conventions.  The conventions are still ostensibly followed by the signatory nations.  However, there are those that see the war on terror as outside the scope of the conventions.
