I'm not exactly sure what the story is but apparently it was proved a few years ago to be and utter fake. The person who had taken pictures had edited them so people would think of him as a famous discoverer. Did any scuba divers ever see Nessie? No.

It still a nice little story in Lock-Ness but as far as it goes, theres actually nothing there.

Every so often she pops her head out of the deep dark water trying to spot her cousin, the Haggis, but he is so fast she never manages to see him. Odd looking mutants keep trying to photograph her. She is so frightened by the camera flashes that she dives to the depths to hide without ever seeing her wee Haggis pal. Awe poor soul.

I was born in Scotland, no one but the Americans take this seriously. It was just some jock pissed one night with a good imagination, thought he saw a monster, and the story was born.

there have been various sighting of unidentified shapes in the Loch over the years. it started in 1933 when a local journalist claimed to have seen a dragon in the loch, since then there have been several sightings and a mini tourist industry has grown up around 'Nessie'
