  1. I went to say good bye to my dying great grand mother who had alzheimer for about 10 years, se had stop recognizing me about 4 yrs before that day and had stopped talking about 1 year before.

That day when I was just about to leave, she grabbed my hand and said Bye bye mija, god bless you. it was shocking!

  2. I was staying at my aunt's house alone, and I was watching TV in the basement, when I heard heavy boot-like footsteps start in the back bedroom and walk all the way to the top of the stairs to the basement.

Nobody came down the stairs, and nobody walked back away from the doorway... the house is all hardwood floors so I would have heard them walk away.

I turned on the light and looked, but nobody was there... then the TV started changing channels on me so I gave up and went to bed.

True story... and my cousins like to joke about the ghost...

  3. When I was about 6 or 7 years old, we had a house fire.  For two months prior, I would ask my mom everynight before bed if we were going to have a fire - she always said no.   I just had a feeling we were going to have one.  The morning of the fire (it hadn't happened yet), I packed all my stuffed animals in the car and took them to school with me.  When we came home, we saw the fire trucks in front of our house.  I knew the fire was going to happen that day subcontiously, because if I hadn't kept my stuffed animals with me that day, they would have burned.

  4. 2 things - I've told this story before on here.  I was on a bus with my friend going for a night out, I said to my friend 'why do we never see Pete'  (we hadn't seen him for 25 years)!  Later that night we went to a pub and who walked in but Pete, I slid off the bar stool in shock!  He was just an old friend and I just happened to think of him.

The second thing is, I was driving my car down the driveway into work when I had a massive shudder and went cold.  I had a vision that someone had got run over but not by me, I looked both ways in fright but saw nothing.  About 10 mins later the road outside work was shut because a young man had been knocked down.  I nearly told my friend when I arrived but decided I'd look like a nutter so I kept quiet!

  5. kinda,  just woke up, and i was looking at the side of my bed for a bit, then i felt a bit watched, so i looked at my door, i saw this blur thing, i could see though it but not any pictures though it( i have heaps of poster) but when i look where it was not on the door i could see the pictures, and then the blur started to spread and slowly disappear, i freaked out and went back in my bed with my eyes shut trying to get back to sleep.

  6. Hello,

(ANS) I once witnessed a woman "shape shift" and become a owl for a few moments it was a very very startling thing!!. The same woman could appear & disappear in different places, I have no idea how this could happen. But it was real and you don't forget something like that because it was so strange.

    Ivan.

  7. when i was a teenager i had a premotion of a stranger trying to pick me up walking home from school. a few weeks later it actually came true, even the man looked the same as in my dream. very spooky!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Back in the old days before states  started the lottery. The mob(bookies) had a racket called the numbers. You would pick 3 numbers and give them to a bookie. Then that day at a pre- picked horse race track.they would look at the total handle, all the bets taken in at the track. If your number matched the last 3 numbers of the handle. You would win a substantial payout.I was bar-ten tending and had played 333.At the last minute a friend decided to go to the track.I gave him 2 dollars on the 4-5 exacta in the third.Believe it or not the number that day was 335.My own bet cost me winning the number.

  9. A couple years ago while attending a scheduled online chat my monitor, which had slowly been fading, finally quit. I performed prayers over it and it came back up full brightness.

  10. I was on vacation with my family. We were planning to go to the Grand Canyon until my grandma had a dream that we were going to get into a car accident on the way there and that someone was going to die. She told everyone maybe we should go today but my grandpa insisted. But we did get into a car accident and my grandma flew out the windshield and died. My grandpa has never let himself go for not listening to her

  11. i wish i would have an exciting one.

  12. Had a dream a few weeks ago about an airliner crashing into an old warplane at an airshow, sending debris raining down on a crowd of small children. Two days later a plane crashed at an air show in Germany killing small children in a carousel. I was pretty shocked when I saw it on the news.

  13. i saw a car drive down the street with nobody in it. (but it could have been a midget driver)

  14. I have had a few situations in my life where if things had not gone exactly as they had someone would have been dead or injured.

  15. One of the strangest things was when my son, about 14 at the time, was raised up off his bed while he was asleep. I was awake. I pushed him back down. It took a lot of force to push him down. You'd think I would have run out screaming...but it didn't scare me.I don't know why it didn't scare me. I didn't tell him about it for years. I DID tell our priest. He said , "You SHOULD have been scared!" I wonder why he didn't offer to come bless our house. I guess he was too scared to.

  16. I've had many experiences, usually shared with others so while I was unable to explain them, I was at least able to verify some of them.  Premonitions, claircognizance, clairaudience and other strangeness.

As a result, I've gotten used to a certain amount of strangeness and what some might just call coincidences.  Funnily enough even the most skeptical of some of my friends have experienced a few things along with me and just labeled it 'bizarre'.  I have a strange thing with 1111 and other triple numbers which has created a standing joke amongst friends.    But they always say when they notice the numbers, they smile, thinking of me, so I guess that's a positive outcome :)

Probably the strangest thing was an elderly woman who approached me and held my hand, telling me I was pregnant and I needed to take care of myself or I would lose my baby.  I met her as I was walking to my local deli and she laid her hands on my stomach and told me this.  Then she grabbed my hand and took me into the deli, directing the owner (and a friend) to give me black olives and hard-boiled eggs.  She then disappeared.  What was remarkable about that was that she walked very slowly in the first place and the deli was very small so within a minute or so, I don't know how or where she could have gone.  I looked for her and asked Bob who was getting the food together.  The event was strange enough that I decided to take a pregnancy test.  I had previously had trouble conceiving due to endometriosis.  The test was positive.  Before that time and since that time there have been so many I have lost count.

My most recent puzzler is some photos I took of a former friend who often joked (i used to think) that he was a werewolf.  Indeed, some of the photos I took of him seem to have a ghostly werewolf effect complete with pointed ears and jaw!  The photos were taken with a digital camera and blurred a bit creating a blur from his face but even where not blurred his features were pointed.  Very strange stuff-- someone who believes in shape-shifting would say there was something else going on with these.

I've also had friends tell me they have seen me in places where I couldn't have possibly been at the time.  My friend and her granddaughter who was only 5 at the time insisted they saw me walk in front of my house while they were in the back yard but I was 30 miles away and a phone call verified this.

Its all interesting, isn't it?  You just need to take care to balance it out with your skeptical friends, especially if it seems to be happening a lot.  They can often point out things you might have overlooked.

  17. i dont know if this counts but when i was about 12, we moved to a new building & i was starting to like staying at home alone. after a bit of arguing with my mom she finally went out with the rest of my family making me promise not to open the door, use the over, etc, you know. i spent the whole evening watching tv in the living room & halfway during one of the shows i heard my mom's voice, then my sister's. i forgot they were out so i just ignored it. a couple of minutes later i could hear the sound of high heels walking in the hallway & thats when i remembered i was alone. let me tell you, i freaked out! i was so terrified i didnt even dare to turn my face to the door. another time, i was up at 4 am to watch some cartoons, same house. i was lying on the sofa & suddenly heard tapping on the window next to me. we lived on the 4th floor, so there was no way it could have been someone outside, & everybody was asleep. again, i was so scared i didnt look at the window. i was, & still am, a coward!

  18. While delivering lunch to hospital patients, I walked into one lady's room and there was a man talking to her wearing a plaid jacket, black plants, dry shoes and carrying a dry umbrella.

This wouldn't have been out of the ordinary, but there was a massive thunderstorm going on at the time, and this woman's family was not the well dressed or spoken types (some of them even had missing teeth). They'd even gotten thrown out of the hospital once for threatening to kill her doctor (the doc was standing there) "fer butcherin" the woman.

I waited silently for a break in the convo, and finally the plaid jacketed man said, "...and I'll be back to see you in a few days. Until then," he turned to look at me, "These nice people will take good care of you." He said a few more words and left.

I quickly sat her tray down, careful to listen for the ding of the elevators, and ran to the hall to make sure he got on one - but he'd disappeared.

The woman died exactly three days later.
