And I think you shoud know what I mean by this question, but what is the strangest time that you have attended a play to begin? And I have one, and currently that they are still in running, but closing in the next few weeks. There is a play called Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, and it is currently in production at Drurly Lane Oakbrook Terrace, http://www.drurylaneconferencecenter.com/live_theatre/schedule.shtml . And on Saturdays they have 2 shows, the first one at 5:00 P.M. (I kid you not), and then at 8:30 P.M. and I am not getting on either start time, check the link, and last month I attendded the show on a Saturday at it was the 5:00 P.M. show. And they do have a diner/show pacakges where dependin on the time of the day of the show, they would reccomend you to eat at a certain time, either 90 muinutes to 2 hours before showtime.

  1. I have worked on professional theatre shows which have started at 10.30 a.m., then the next show was at 5.00 p.m., some shows where there have been three a day (11.00 a.m., 2.30 p.m. and 7.30p.m.), years ago I toured to Italy where the show started at 9.30 p.m. and finished at midnight.  Not every show is at 7.30p.m.!

  2. In some measure it might relate to the venue and optimal traffic. STRANGE might not define it at all.

I've been to Rocky Horror all night; Midnight show start times.
