What is the strongest wood in order to craft a training bow out of it?

Bois D'arc - pronounced "bow dark" is the hardest wood.  It's sometimes called iron wood down south where it grows the most.  It was so called because of it's use in making bows.  

As for 2 and 3 - try doing a search including the words "how to make a bow" or "instructions for making a bow and arrow" etc.  I got a lot of returns by using those words.

4.  It's not illegal to make a bow.  However, it is considered a weapon when it's finished and a felon may not possess one.  So, how's your criminal background?  lol!

The traditional wood for making bows is Yew, to make a training bow make the bow slightly thinner!
