  1. The main component of the nervous system is the brain. If I do your homework, yours will cease to function properly.


  2. Find a book on human biology and take a look. Basically, the nervous system is made up of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. There are many things which can go wrong, such as disease or trauma injuries. See 'stroke' (cerebrovascular accident), spinal cord injury, (remember Christopher Reeve?) or any number of diseases affecting the nervous system actions (Parkinson's etc.)

    Even something as 'simple' as a broken bone can have disasterous effects on the outlying nerves. There are far too many examples to list here, a bit of research at the library or on the net will give you what you need.
